The second toughest race in the world, a solo race starting in Saint Malo in France and finishing in Guadeloupe in the Caribbean. After the start, the course takes the sailors out of the English Channel, then across the Bay of Biskay, rounding the Azores and then across the Atlantic ocean finishing in the French West Indies – the origin of the Rum from which the race has got its name.
